1. ABOUT THE JOB 

Job description

We’re looking for an AI Engineer / LLM Engineer who is passionate about building smart AI agents powered by large language models. You’ll design and implement conversational systems that can interact naturally, retrieve data intelligently, and execute tasks in real-time across various business use cases.

Responsibilities

• Build intelligent AI agents using LLMs such as OpenAI (GPT), Anthropic (Claude), etc.
• Design components like contextual conversations, memory handling, tool usage, and data retrieval pipelines.
• Apply advanced techniques such as prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and embeddings for more accurate and efficient performance.
• Integrate AI agents with internal APIs, databases, and knowledge systems to perform real tasks.
• Collaborate with backend and infrastructure teams to deploy, monitor, and improve agents in production environments.

• Working address: Ground floor, Anna Building, Quang Trung Software City, Tan Chanh Hiep Ward, District 12, HCMC
• Holiday: Sat, Sun, National holidays
• Working Hour: 8:00 – 17:00

Probationary period: 2 months (full of gross salary)
Employment type: Full-time

Interview Process

• 2 rounds of interviews: conducted in-person at Vina Takeuchi Co., Ltd. office in Ho Chi Minh City.
• For candidates living outside HCMC, the first round may be conducted online (details will be discussed during scheduling).

2. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS 

Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Preferred graduates from top universities (e.g., Polytechnic University, National Universities).
• Experience working with LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, etc.).
• Proficiency in Python (or Node.js), with hands-on knowledge in:
  1. Prompt engineering
  2. Memory/context management
  3. Tool/function calling
  4. Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience building or experimenting with AI agent frameworks.
• Familiarity with tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex, FAISS, Pinecone, or other vector databases.
• Backend or DevOps experience (e.g., FastAPI, NestJS, Docker, CI/CD pipelines).
